Dr. Paul Knapp, Attaché, and Tim McCoy To Be Honored at Annual Celebration Dinner Feb. 22 at the Blackwell
Two individuals and a fast growing Clintonville company will be honored at the Chamber's Annual Celebration Dinner on Feb. 22nd at the Blackwell.
2008 Business of the Year, Attaché, Jason Janoski, CEO
Jason Janoski grew up in Clintonville and when he started his advertising business he chose to stay close to home. Fifteen years later, Janoski Advertising has grown into a creative services and personnel consulting company, Attaché, that is known across the country. When the company expanded four years ago, they could have located anywhere. Again, Jason chose to stay in Clintonville and moved to their current location at 4400 N. High St.
Janoski believes in his community and his employees reflect that belief. Attaché has provided creative services to the Clintonville Beechwold CRC, the Farmers Market, the Chamber, The American Red Cross, and others. Attaché employees volunteer in a variety of ways across the community. Janoski currently serves as president of the Old Beechwold Association.
Attaché was recognized by Inc. Magazine in 2005 as one of the fifty fastest growing companies in the country.
2008 Business Person of the Year, Dr. Paul Knapp, Knapp Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Paul Knapp is a life long Clintonville resident and the owner of a business that has been serving Clintonville families for 65 years. A North High "Polar Bear" and active member of the Polar Bear Alumni Association. He is also a founding member of the Chamber and past Board member.
When the Chamber Notes interviewed Dr. Knapp in 2005 and asked him about changes in his business over the years he replied, "We don't do anything like we used to. Like other businesses, the biggest changes have been in the area of technology," The Knapp Veterinary Hospital now has over 40 employees.
Dr. Knapp is also a board member of Pilot Dogs of Central Ohio, and organization his father help found.
